Susan Peppercorn, President & Founder
Susan knows what it takes to get hired in today’s competitive economy. She has more than 20 years of successful marketing and management experience in the high technology industry, as well as extensive experience coaching job seekers to effectively identify and attain their career goals.
What makes Susan uniquely qualified to coach career seekers is her deep understanding of the hiring process and her expertise in personal branding. After leaving the high technology world in 1999, Susan was recruited to develop relationships with human resources managers at Babson School of Executive Education. She then moved to the career center at Boston University School of Management where she continued to develop recruiting relationships, and coached students on the entire hiring process including: resumes, cover letters, networking and interviewing. Through these experiences, Susan discovered that she is passionate about helping people achieve their personal career aspirations.
In addition to her experience coaching MBA and undergraduate students, Susan currently consults to ClearRock Inc., a regional outplacement and coaching organization. In this capacity, she teaches classes on the job search process and works one-on-one coaching clients who are in career transition.
Having made multiple career changes, Susan understands at a personal level, what it takes to make the transition into a new industry, both intellectually and emotionally. She created and taught "You the Product," a seminar on personal branding and marketing, "Career Search 911," a networking and action-plan workshop for graduating students, and "Ten Ways To Use LinkedIn," a workshop on how to use social networks for networking and job searches. In addition, she developed and conducted seminars on industry-specific careers topics such as strategy consulting and technology.
Susan understands the challenges of balancing a family and career. Mother of two, she has worked full-time, part-time and has re-entered the work force after taking time to be a full-time parent. She has the passion and knowledge to facilitate client achievement through the combination of her industry experience; her methodical approach to career development and most importantly, her commitment to the success of her clients.
